In observance of World Environmental Health Day, BSG Volunteers conducted an engaging session with 40 children from the Gyandeep Growth Foundation, a not-for-profit organization supporting underprivileged students. This initiative aligns with BSG’s ongoing commitment to raising awareness about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The session began with a thought-provoking short film on environmental degradation, sparking a lively discussion among the children about the state of the environment, climate change, and the impact of human actions on the planet. To foster interactive learning, a game of “Pass the Parcel” was introduced, incorporating questions and answers related to SDGs, the environment, biodiversity, and environmental health.
Through this engaging session, the children gained valuable insights into the interconnectedness of human health and environmental well-being. Inspired by these learnings, they made personal commitments to take small, daily steps towards caring for the planet.
