The exhibition commenced with a formal lamp lighting ceremony presided over by the Chief Guest, Ms. Shivani Mehra, Additional Superintendent of Police, Chamba. A short film about the “BSG for SDG” initiative soon followed.

The Chief Guest and other distinguished guests inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon.

As the ribbon fell, a kaleidoscope of knowledge unfolded. Young orators from classes 8th to 10th breathed life into the exhibition panels. Their passion was a wildfire, igniting hearts with the urgency of sustainable living.

Speaking of BSG and the students of GNPS, Ms. Mehra said “Your efforts inculcating the efforts of sustainable development and responsibility towards nature in the young mind is really motivating and is a great step for promotion of a better future for entire world. And simultaneously I would also like to thank all the students who are present here for presenting their views to me.”

Principal of the school, Mr. Navdeep Bhandari, appreciated BSG for its ingenious idea to hold SOHA in the hubs of young people — schools and colleges.

As the event drew to a close, it left behind not just informative panels, but inspired minds ready to transform their campuses and communities into greener, more harmonious spaces.
