The 133rd Seeds of Hope and Action Exhibition created a whirlwind of action and dialogue towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Held at the Cambridge International School (TCIS), Bengaluru, this exhibition proved how powerful the combination of ingenuity and purpose can be. By merging creative ideas with a strong commitment to the global goals, the exhibition could achieve a monumental impact.

The Cambridge International School, Harlur, Bengaluru gives SOHA their unique touch

With 17 dedicated volunteers from classes 7th, 8th, 10th and, 12th, the exhibition was moored to a strong anchor throughout. As they explained one SOHA panel after another, they also shared their own journeys in adopting ‘sustainable human behaviour’. They have been actively engaging in various personal actions such as organizing plantation drives, eliminating plastic use, conserving and reusing RO water, aiding the underprivileged, and using solar energy for lighting.

Additionally, the volunteers made eye-catching posters, and conducted interactive games for a more hands-on learning experience. However, the students did not stop there. They also handcrafted bookmarks as a memento for everyone, ensuring a lasting reminder of the exhibition’s message.

To transform their vision into determination, the students made several important pledges. They committed to reducing waste from stationery items, avoiding food wastage, conserving energy, and keeping the environment clean.

The exhibition saw a footfall of around 400 students and 50 staff and parents. The students of TCIS truly served us with an action-oriented, eco-friendly model for building a greener future.
