WHO WE ARE

Established on 3rd January 1986, Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) has its Headquarters in New Delhi. It is the Indian affiliate of the global Soka Gakkai, an association of grassroots organizations with 12 million members spread across 192 countries and territories. BSG is dedicated to the goal of promoting the values of happiness and respect for all through various activities under the umbrella of peace, culture, education, and sustainability. BSG is dedicated to the cause of creating a ‘New Age in India’ and a ‘New Global Civilization’ by ‘empowering individuals’ across the country.

Members of BSG work on their ‘human revolution’, or inner transformation in all areas of their life, thereby creating a culture of cherishing and respecting the dignity of all life.

WHAT WE FOCUS ON

WHAT WE DO

CHERISHING EACH LIFE

For Each Life

At the heart of all activities undertaken by BSG is to build a peaceful society where the dignity of all life is respected, and where all living beings can be happy and enjoy themselves at ease. This can only be achieved when all human beings imbibe the spirit to cherish and empower each life.

Winning in Life

For Society

The key to winning in life is to ‘Never be defeated’. This is the spirit that members of Bharat Soka Gakkai strive to imbibe in their life through following the Buddhist practice of Soka Humanism and undergoing their own Human Revolution (inner transformation).
